These Terms govern your use of the AbhiWork mobile application and website (together, the "Platform"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use AbhiWork.
AbhiWork is a marketplace. We connect customers who need tasks done with independent workers and service providers in Hyderabad, India.
We do not perform any services ourselves. Workers on AbhiWork are independent individuals. They are not our employees, agents, contractors or partners. We do not supervise, direct or control the work they do, the tools they use, or how or when they do it.
The agreement for any job is between the customer and the worker directly. AbhiWork is not a party to that agreement.
Accounts are created and secured using your mobile number and a one-time password (OTP). You are responsible for keeping access to your phone number secure, and for everything that happens under your account.
Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has used your account.
Payment is currently made in cash, directly between the customer and the worker, after the work is done. AbhiWork does not process, hold, collect or handle any payment, and takes no commission on transactions.
The price is whatever the customer and worker agree through the quoting process. Any change to the agreed price must be agreed between them.
We are not responsible for non-payment, underpayment, or any payment dispute between a customer and a worker.
Customers may rate and review workers after a job. Reviews must be honest and based on real experience. Do not post reviews that are false, abusive, or written in exchange for payment.
If a worker deletes their account, reviews about them remain visible on the Platform but their name is removed and shown as "Deleted user".
We may remove a review that breaches these Terms.
We may suspend or remove any account that breaches these Terms, without notice where the breach is serious.
AbhiWork connects people who have not met before, and work often takes place in someone's home. Please use ordinary good judgement:
We do not currently carry out background checks or police verification on workers. A profile being on AbhiWork is not a guarantee of skill, honesty, or suitability. You use the Platform and engage with other users at your own risk.
If something goes wrong on a job — poor work, damage, non-payment, a no-show — that is a matter between the customer and the worker. We encourage you to resolve it directly and in good faith.
You may report the issue to us and we may, at our discretion, look into it, mediate informally, or take action on an account. We are not obliged to do so and we are not a dispute resolution service.
The Platform is provided "as is". We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce any particular result.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AbhiWork is not liable for:
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
You agree to indemnify AbhiWork against any claim, loss or expense arising from your use of the Platform, your breach of these Terms, or any dispute between you and another user.
You keep ownership of the photos, text and other content you upload. By uploading it, you give us permission to host and display it on the Platform for the purpose of operating the service.
Do not upload content you do not have the right to share.
The AbhiWork name, logo, app and website are ours. You may not copy, modify or use them without our written permission.
AbhiWork is currently free to use for both customers and workers. We may introduce charges in future — for example, subscriptions or fees for workers. If we do, we will tell you clearly in advance and you will be able to decide whether to continue.
You may stop using AbhiWork and delete your account at any time. See our account deletion page for how.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms, or where we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect other users.
We may update these Terms as the service develops. We will change the date at the top of this page, and where the change is significant we will tell you in the app. Continuing to use AbhiWork after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute relating to them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana.
